Yo-yo Ma is my shepherd

Imagen
Yo-yo Ma is the first famous cellist I met, I listened to his version of Bach's Cello Suite ad nauseam.  Over time I got to know his work, a versatile and multifaceted musician.  He has a discography that goes from the ancient music of the learned canon to pop songs, he has delved into Latin American music, he has turned to his Asian roots, he also formed a country music group and has made collaborations with popular musicians, he has appeared on television, in children's programs, and he has done architectural and urban projects inspired by Bach's cello suite. In his tours he always has moments of closeness with the public, and in his social networks he is close to them. I think his musical and human work is very admirable.  Franco American, of Chinese parents. Multi-instrumentalist  At the age of 4 he studied violin, viola and then cello and piano. Excelling in music from an early age, throughout his career he has won several awards and distinctions, and has...

Music is a good place

When we meet someone, one of the quetions that is the usually asked to start a conversation is: what music do you listen to?. We assume that every one enjoys listening to music. The truth is that music is very present in our live. It is part of our collective identity as well as our personal identity. My university career is one that contributes to a very small part of everything that music meant, but it also depends on the will and the life project that one has in relation with the profession. In my case, I work in music with the aim of being able to make a living from it, but at the same time being able to reach the people around me, from the working class neighbourhoods. I don't like my musical work being locked up in theaters. I think that my university career is far removed from the national reality. But in any case, it can contribute, with better dissemination work, to broaden the variety of cultural expressions in the territories. That can change the lives of many people, ...

She was a given it at work, and this year a they gave a new one, so she gave it to me. I use for everything, principally for communicate in app like Telegram, Whatsapp and Instagram. I also use it for college things. I was without a computer for a few years and used only cell phone. I like because is very versatile and small. The life without cell phone would be bored. It is true that the cell phone distracts you from present things, but connects you with much more. The career I chose

In my childhood I wanted to be many things, I had todo many intereses! For example: I wanted to be a pirate, an archeologist, an explorer, an historian (because I like Indiana Jones), also other things like lawyer and teacher. When I entered at the university I applied to history, philosophy and letters. I was accepted in all of them, but I applied for music (musical interpretation), I was accepted and I had no doubts. My family, my friends and teachers supported my decision and that made me very happy. In my experience at the university I have had ups and downs. I like study music, but the way to be a musician is too long, what has me exhausted and I just want to finish. Fortunately this is my last year, it makes me very happy!
